Learning Model

Dill’m and friends curriculum is designed using a whole-child approach, intentionally supporting each student’s intellectual, creative, physical, and emotional development. Rather than focusing on a single way of learning, it recognizes that children grow best when all parts of who they are are engaged and valued. Lessons are structured to build knowledge, encourage creativity, promote movement, and foster emotional awareness and confidence.

To reach every learner, the curriculum integrates the four primary learning modalities: visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile. Students see concepts through images, diagrams, and real-life observations; hear ideas through discussion, storytelling, and guided instruction; move their bodies through hands-on activities and experiments; and engage their sense of touch by interacting directly with materials. This multi-sensory approach deepens understanding and helps concepts “stick.”

A key feature of this curriculum is teaching abstract ideas through the study of nature. By starting with something familiar and observable—like seeds, plants, and growth—students are guided from the known to the unknown. Complex concepts such as potential, change, and identity become easier to grasp when rooted in real-world examples. Through this method, learning becomes meaningful, memorable, and personally relevant to each child.
